I think out of the box. What you see is what you get. No more and no less. I also like new encounters, networking, to know people and discover their talents and work together to reach an ideal match based on trust, equality and respect.
I want to work with an open/realistic and non-judgemental vision with people who can be who they are. I want to be accountable for that.
Important values for me: sincerity, authenticity, an inquisitive mindset, vulnerability, availability, humour, having a non-judgemental view on life and people.
In addition to being result-oriented, people find me grounded and transcendent at the same time. Do you also see it?
WHAT I DO
Travelling, city escapes, skiing, Yoga, reading, movies, walking through the dunes and along the sea, going out with my family, grandchildren and friends, meeting people to keep on learning with and from each other.

LIFE AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Born in the 50's, in the West Coast of Scotland, in Ayrshire, I've moved to the Netherlands with my parents, a Scottish mother and a Scheveningse father, just before turning nine years old. In Scheveningen I've spent my early school years.
In the early 80's I moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where I worked at the Dutch Consulate, first at the Trade Department and then at Consular affairs. Living in Jeddah was a very interesting experience where I had the opportunity to discover not only the Saudi culture but also other countries in the Middle East and Africa.
Back in the Netherlands in 1990 I've worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Fishing and the Ministry of Public Works and Water Management.
My last function at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2005-2008), traveling the world for security and integrity investigations, showed me that, at the end, everyone, independent on culture and country, wants the same: to be valued and recognised.
The 14 years after that were about higher management positions, full of enthusiasm, a sharp look and a touch of personal wisdom. My vision on leadership and life: attention, love and clarity. In the 90's, I was touched by the non-western way of thinking: Andean Traditions and Reiki and I understood that there is more (energy) between Heaven and Earth. After that I also professionalized myself in Coaching and Mentoring. All this gave and still gives me a more comprehensive image of life and who we are on this planet.
